Pick of the Vine Wine Tasting and Auction
A tasting of Russian River Wine Road's Wine and Sonoma County Unique Wine Country Cuisine. Over 59 of Russian River Wineries and Sonoma County's Restaurants and Caterers will be participating in this event which includes a Silent and Live Auction.
Advance Ticket purchase advisable $55 donation

Mothers' Day Flower Project
Ombudsman Program provides flower bouquets to women in Nursing Homes and Residential Care Facilities. To Volunteer or donate for this special event, call Susan at 707-526-4108

Some women do not get remembered on Mother's Day. They are old and alone. On Mother's Day there is no one to send them flowers. For this reason the Ombudsman Program of Sonoma County is once again coordinating an effort to brighten a nursing home resident with a fresh beautiful bouquet and card. In 2009 three-hundred and twenty-eight Mother's Day bouquets were delivered in Sonoma County. For a $25 donation or more the Ombudsman Program will deliver flowers to a woman in a nursing home. This donation will bring someone your gift of love and caring and will also support the efforts of the Ombudsman Program all other days of the year to help ensure that residents in nursing homes and residential care home live in safe, friendly and caring facilities. With your donation you may designate a special someone or have the Ombudsman Program select the recipient. Donations in memory of a loved one are also appreciated.
